"Sharing Ideas on Inspiring Students’ Potential by Promoting Education of Geospatial Technology"

Objective

Schools play a crucial role in promoting spatial data and geographic information system (GIS) education. Ms. Shirley Leung, the Principal of Kowloon Sam Yuk Secondary School, along with the teachers and students in her school will share educational initiatives and experience pertaining to spatial data. The discussion will also encompass the integration of spatial data and GIS into various STEAM disciplines. Additionally, the remarkable projects of the students who participated in the CSDI Awards 2023 will be presented and showcased during this talk.
