Dr Kenneth Tang
Dr Kenneth Tang is currently Adjunct Associate Professor of the Department of Urban Planning and Design, the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP). He serves on a number of professional bodies, notably as Past President of the Hong Kong Geographic Information System Association, Chairman of the Spatial Data Infrastructure Committee of Smart City Consortium, Board Director of the Hong Kong Alliance of Build Asset & Environment Information Management Association (HKABAEIMA) and Conservation E3 Foundation, Chief Editor of the HKIP Journal and appointed by the HKSARG as Member of the CSDI Advisory Committee.
Dr Tang obtained his MSc (Urban Planning) and PhD from HKU.
Ms Belva Tong
Ms. Belva Tong currently serves as a executive committee of HKGISA. She is a Year 4 student of the Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Urban Studies at the University of Hong Kong. She is enthusiastic about how GIS applications can facilitate the smart city development and make Hong Kong a better place to live. Among several past experiences, she worked as a GIS trainee in the Esri China (HK) Limited, analysing spatial data and exploring the integration of BIM and GIS.
Mr Issac Ng
Mr. Issac Ng is a Research Officer at Lingnan University, specializing in the use of Python and GIS. With a Master's degree in Urban Analytics , he has been recognized for his innovative work in data-driven urban renewal, including winning awards such as the Esri Young Scholars Award, Opendata Hackathon and the B4B Challenge. His aptitude for making substantial contributions to the development of smart cities in Hong Kong is demonstrated by his proficiency in using Python and GIS to analyze and interpret spatial data.
