Objective

Guest speakers from different sectors will introduce  "Walking Assistant" and share how spatial data can embrace social inclusion at the launch ceremony.

"Walking Assistant" is a Proof-of-Concept developed for the visually impaired, focusing in Kowloon East, providing the visually impaired with indoor and outdoor positioning and seamless navigation.

"Walking Assistant" is a module of “MyKE” which is a comprehensive mobile application for Kowloon East, aiming at promoting Smart City initiatives and the concept of "Walkable Kowloon East".
